Patient Access Representative - The Woodlands, TX
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $16/hour + full benefits
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Must be Spanish/English bilingual and have 2 years of RECENT Patient Access Rep experience.

Dean's Professional Services is currently hiring a Patient Access Representative to support a leading hospital in The Woodlands, TX. We're looking for professionals with strong patient service skills, front-office healthcare experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary:
The Patient Access Representative is responsible for managing the front desk, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, handling payments, and supporting a smooth and efficient patient intake process.

Key Responsibilities:

* Schedule patient appointments and enter accurate information into the system

* Collect and verify patient demographic, insurance, and financial data

* Ensure medical necessity compliance and obtain required signatures

* Collect and post patient payments, including handling credit card transactions

* Communicate effectively with patients, guarantors, and internal staff

* Manage front office workflow and maintain a professional lobby environment

Required Qualifications:

* Minimum of 2 years of RECENT experience in patient access or similar healthcare front office role

* Health insurance verification experience

* Customer service and cashiering experience

* Credit card handling experience

* Proficient in front office operations

* Bilingual (English & Spanish)-REQUIRED

* Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

* Ability to use 10-key by touch

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience using EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
