West Philadelphia Achievement Charter Elementary School (WPACES) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Remote File Clerk to join our administrative support team. In this role, you will help ensure that all school documents—both digital and physical—are accurately organized, maintained, and retrievable. Your responsibilities will include scanning and uploading records, updating filing systems, retrieving requested information, and ensuring confidentiality of sensitive student and staff documents.
The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and able to work independently in a remote setting. Prior experience in an educational or administrative environment is preferred but not required. You must be comfortable handling confidential information with integrity and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain digital filing systems for student and administrative records
Scan, label, and store physical documents electronically
Retrieve files upon request and assist with audits or compliance checks
Follow confidentiality protocols and school policies
Collaborate with other administrative staff as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Familiarity with basic office software and digital filing systems
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines remotely
